If you received a parts list with your bike, it’s a good idea to either keep it in a handy place or better yet, scan it and put it on your computer. Other common problems that may keep your mini bike from starting include dirty air filters and stale fuel. Yep, gas can go bad. If your bike has sat for 60 days or more your gas may have varnished. It will smell like varnish, look like Mountain Dew, and clog up your carburetor.
