Mini Sport Bikes
Mini bikes, which used to be purchased strictly for kids, are now purchased by adults - for adults - who like to participate in sports with their mini sport bikes. Most mini bike sports involve complicated courses, and the sport can be conducted in a couple of different ways. For adults and older kids, participating in these contests is the biggest thrill of owning mini sport bikes.
A common minibike sport is racing. This type of racing usually isn't just around a paved track, however, although those types of races are done with mini sport bikes as well. But most mini sport bike enthusiasts want more extreme sports. This type of extreme racing is usually done on a very complicated dirt course with many obstacles, jumps, and even dangers.
Another common minibike sport is timed courses. The courses are much like the courses used for extreme racing, but instead of all the minibike riders racing at the same time, they go one at a time, and each rider is timed. The best time wins. In some cases, the courses are even trickier than the usual extreme racing courses.
If you have a mini sport bike, and minibike sports interest you, make sure that you have the necessary skill before entering any of these contests. They are dangerous, and you need to know what you are doing, and how to handle your bike. Attend as many races as you can as a spectator so that you are sure that you know what is involved. Practice what you see in a safer environment. If possible, see if you can use the course on days when races are not being held to get some experience.
